Too much to do!

I’ve been a bit overwhelmed recently with things I need to get done, hence the long gap in postings.

My offline businesses are taking up a lot of my time as I am trying to get a new product ready to sell. I want to try and get the mailings out soon so need to complete the product, sales material then get it all to the fulfillment house ready to receive orders, which all seems to take so much time.

I’ve also had a lot of renewal stuff to do in the last week, domain renewals, subscriptions to sort out. The domain renewals have proven to be a little difficult as I purchased some domains last year which were already setup and optimised, all the vendor needed to do was transfer the domain registration into my name which they did OK, but they’ve just come up for renewal and I don’t have the login details to action the renewal. Finding this information is proving just a little difficult and time consuming.

I also opened the floodgates on one of my other niche sites a few weeks back to a couple of article syndication sites and received 40,000+ articles to review in the space of a few days. I’ve turned the submission off now but I’ve still got to sort through all those articles to approve only those which are relevant to my niche. It’s a huge job and I’ve worked out it will take around 40 hours to complete.

I’ve also had a problem with Clickbank this week. My credit card expired at the end of last month and I do not appear to have gone into the correct system with Clickbank to give them my new card details and they have canceled a couple of my recurring payments in the space of two weeks from the card expiring. Apparently they have a 28 day system which asks for the new card every 7 days until 28 days have elapsed, but I haven’t received the emails from them as I should have done so they have cancelled the recurring payments. It’s a pain ‘cos now I will not be able to get the special rates I was on from the vendors concerned.

The other thing I need to do is also add some more content to my Newsletter. The current content is due to run out shortly and I need to add some more before then. Normally I don’t let it get so close, as I like to keep at least six months worth of content there but I’ve been so busy lately this has disappeared rather more quickly than I like. So that’s another job a I need to get on with.

But that’s life on the internet I suppose, what it means is I’ve been a little distracted for the last week or so trying to sort everything out. Hopefully things will start to settle down and I’ll be able to get more organised again.

I’ve also been out and about sorting out my new car, signing forms, sorting out insurance etc. That’s all done now and I pick up my new BMW M Sport 330 Coupe on Saturday, I can’t wait! Buying a BMW has been a 30 year dream for me. The first car dealership I went into after passing my driving test was a BMW one and they looked at me as if to say ‘ You can’t afford a BMW so go away’. Well I was a scruffy 19 year old at the time, but working for myself has allowed me to realise my dream at last. I’ll post some pictures soon.

Hopefully this should give all you newbies and inactive marketers out there the incentive to do something online. It is possible to make a living online and get all the things you want in life, if you just take some action.

Anyway, until next time
