‘Run, Barefoot Bandit, Run.’ The story of Colton Harris-Moore, exasperatingly cute…. and as fast as the wind!

If the subject of Today’s article had been born in mid to late 1800’s in the mid west of the United States, his story could quite easily have been linked to any number of notorious outlaws. Billy the Kid, Jesse James, Frank James, the Dalton Brothers and the like. He even has the young ‘devil-may-care’ look of Billy the Kid.

His story is a tale worthy of the true American Folk Heroes. He is lucky to have been born in the twentieth century though, because ‘The Law’ has become more civilised since those times. In 1800’s Wild West America, most folk heros were shot or hanged, but not any more. Colton Harris-Moore will go to jail, of that there is no doubt.
