OMG Oxford English Dictionary Adds LOL

If you’re anything like me, you find it hard to understand the Texts you receive from your Sons, Daughters, Nieces, Nephews etc. Anyone of that Teenage to Thirties age group seems to have their own language, which those of us in our older years find hard to understand and grasp.  It sometimes takes me a while to decipher some of the wierd shortcuts they use to reduce the length of the texts they send.

Well fear no more, The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) has added words like, OMG, LOL and IMHO and 1900 others to it’s already vast dictionary of words and terms. The OED website has been a huge success, with 43% of all entriesd being accessed online in January 2011.
